Mission

Why We Do It
Giving Joy to Kids with Cancer
When a child has cancer, it takes away the joy of just being a kid. Xander’s Acts of Kindness Foundation seeks to bring back joy and fun for a child during their arduous journey. We want to show kids that having cancer doesn’t mean they have to stop being a kid; life can still be full of surprises, joy and fun!
Founded by Xander’s mom, Denise Kuchinski, the foundation officially launched in July 2022 to benefit our local Charlotte community by enhancing the lives of young cancer patients from underprivileged families. We are fortunate to be able to coordinate with the pediatric oncology social workers at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital. We seek to provide an experience or fulfill a special dream within our ability. As the foundation grows, we will be able to touch the lives of more and more children, surprising each with their own unique act of kindness.
This video captures the heart of our mission. It shares the story behind why we exist, the purpose that drives us, and the impact we hope to create. We invite you to watch with an open heart and join us in spreading kindness, uplifting others, and making a difference.
